"People like to talk about being a “voice for the oppressed.” That’s misguided. The oppressed have their own voices. We just have to hear them." -Katy Kreitler
We all crave a world filled with love and care.
The ethos of the capitalist marketplace places greatest value on money and power; it exists solely to maximize profits,
for people who only care about us to the extent that we can provide “FUTURE PROFITABILITY”.
This is a grass roots community organization started by survivors and accomplices to assist those in need, free of judgment, sexism, racism, stigma or commodification .
We stand against the theft of cultural identity, displacement and separation of family by creating a stronger community, stronger individuals, and resist intrusion and devastation from systemically aggressive "children's aid" societies.
It is a participatory environment involving those whose intentions are for reparations, reindigenizing the Earth and rehumanization of all people.
Canada and the U.S were built on the enslavement of Afrikan peoples and the genocide of Indigenous people and culture. As a result, certain mechanisms of maintaining white supremacy and class warfare were installed in ways of ethnic cleansing such as residential schools and children's aid societies which to this day destroy an average of 700 indigenous families per year, in every province and state.
Those who have been impacted have sustained immense loss and trauma from the tragedy of displacement and separation from ancestral roots, the theft of their identity, the loss of family and disregard for their dignity.
We who have been affected will work to create amongst ourselves, working with each other to create FOR ourselves the methods, support and structure that's necessary for overcoming loss, fighting against current struggles, illuminating solutions for causes, eliminating systemic agitation, and preventing future forms of systemic violence.
